Felipe Poveda

Felipe was born in Valencia, Spain. He started drawing at age 5 and, although there have been times in which he was forced to postpone it, has not stopped since. Academically Felipe studied in different places, but he’s primarily self-taught. His greatest schooling was through observing the works of the great geniuses of history and reading many comics. He’s a fan of the Renaissance, especially the works of Miguel Angel Buonarroti, as well as the baroque artist Diego Velazquez, and a great lover of art history in general, especially Greek and Roman styles. He also studies other more contemporary peers and is always watching and learning from other artists in the industry. Life has taken Felipe on different paths and not until recently has he been able to devote himself fully to drawing comics…something that FPP (and, soon, the comic book world) is appreciative of. Felipe is the primary page artist for the upcoming horror comic series Unspeakable produced by FPP and Wicked Karma Productions.
